Dr. Derek Cunningham, Dr. Fraser Horn, and Eric Pitkanen, ATC had the honor to present a learning lab at the 2018 NATA conference in New Orleans, LA. The lab provided some basic training, strobe glasses training, thanks to VIMA, and contact lens insertion and removal training. See more here.

Interprofessional Discussions

Sports Vision is a field where we work as a team with our colleagues in many different areas. We are proud to highlight the wonderful relationship with have with our colleagues and share their knowledge with you.

The doctors from Sports Vision Pros, LLC talk with the Utah Jazz Head Athletic Trainer, Eric Waters, about the importance of Vision and Performance. This is the first in a three part series of the discussion. The other two parts will discuss interprofessional collaboration and cases.
The Doctors of Sports Vision Pros, LLC discuss multiple cases with Eric Waters, ATC - Head Athletic Trainer for the Utah Jazz. The discussion highlights the synergistic relationship between Athletic Training, Optometry, and the other professions.
Eric Waters and the doctors discuss how to get involved with a sports medicine team and the roles that the eye doctor plays. The discussion includes visual function, eye protection, and post-concussion rehab.
